In these days when so many of our fellow country-men and -women have lost awareness of England’s rich Christian heritage it is important that the faithful of the Church have a lively knowledge of and devotion to the many women and men through whom our Christian, Catholic, faith has been handed on to us.

A closer familiarity with them will help unite us as Church and give new focus to our mission to share the Good News of Jesus Christ with our contempories.
