Details of our regular process of helping parents prepare for the baptism of their children are given below.

Alternative arrangements are being during the COVID pandemic made. Details are publicised in the parish newsletter, and are available from Fr Allen.
The introductory group meeting is for both parents, and is held in the Benedict Room (behind the church).
It is better if parents are able to make arrangements for someone else to look after their child(ren) during the session:
  • ​NB In between the Introductory Meeting and the next group meeting there will be a meeting with Fr Allen at your home. This will arranged at the end of the first meeting.

The celebration of baptism normally takes place at 1230pm on the second or fourth Sundays of the month.
  • The date for the baptism of your child can be confirmed after you have attended the first Preparation meeting; had the meeting with Fr Allen after that; and when the prospective godparents have completed the necessary paperwork (which will be given to you at that second meeting with Fr Allen).
