It is in the Liturgy that the faithful, the baptised, are helped to acquire and deepen the authentic Christian spirit.
In our worship we share in the prayer of Christ. We join with him and he nourishes us through his presence to us in sacramental form in Church, priest, word and Sacrament. The worship of the Church takes many forms, including the sacraments that make us Christian, and the liturgy in which , dead, we are commended to God. Information about these less regular - but clearly important - forms of worship are given on this website under 'Join us' and 'Pastoral Care'. In this section, under 'Worship', you will find details of the regular parish celebrations of the Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, and Worship of the Eucharist outside of Mass. |
