Unable to attend Mass?

All sorts of things can prevent us taking part in Sunday Mass. But when this happens we remain in the prayer and care of the parish - and we can continue to share in the prayer of the parish and the Church in a variety of ways

The Parish at prayer on-line
You are very welcome to join with the parish for prayer on-line in any or all of the following ways.
  • Each morning (Monday to Saturday) at 8.30am Morning Prayer will be offered. This form of prayer is largely based on poetical texts from the Old Testament (psalms and canticles). The texts used will be provided on the screen - no access to books is necessary.

  • Each Sunday afternoon at 4pm there is a time of lectio divina based on the Gospel of the Sunday.

  • Each Monday evening at 7pm there is an opportunity to come together to pray the Rosary.

Ministering the word and Holy Communion to the sick and housebound
The parish priest and other parish ministers are ready to come to minister the word and Communion to those who are sick and housebound. Please contact Fr Allen to discuss the matter, if this is something you would like.
