In our parish Morning Prayer is being prayed on Zoom each morning Monday to Saturday at 8.30am - the link is provided here for all who wish to take part. All the prayers needed will displayed as 'Screen Share' during the Zoom prayer session. Those who wish to make The Prayer of the Church a part of their regular pattern of prayer Morning and Evening Prayer is available as a single volume (and a shorter form based on the 4 week psalter and omitting the alternative texts for saints days etc) , and the whole Divine Office which comes in 3 volumes. Links are provided above to Amazon, but if you are wishing to buy you might prefer to visit a Catholic bookshop, such as St Paul's beside St Chad's Cathedral, Birmingham, where you can see and consider the various alternatives. Many people prefer nowadays to use the Universalis App and pray the Office from their PC, Tablet, or SmartPhone. Universalis costs £19.99 to cover all devices (so you can have it on your PC and tablet and phone) or about £10 for a single phone/tablet. In addition to the Office the App provides you with the texts for Mass each day. |
